An ecumenical chapel, a holy place, an earthly abode of God dreamed up by Farkas Bethlen, the mayor of Verőce, is under construction in the Lósi Valley of Verőce, arranged by the Friar Julian Foundation (Julianus Barát Alapítvány). Verőce is a nicely situated small town with a wonderful view to the Danube bend. 

The chapel will be inaugurated on June 4, 2010 at 2:30 p.m. to commemorate the 90th anniversary of the unfortunate Treaty of Trianon whereby Hungary lost two-thirds of its territory and population to neighbouring countries.

We would be grateful if you could come to the Lósi Valley of Verőce to assist in building the chapel.

We also thank those, who are/were unable to come and help in person but are/were able to assist in the construction works either by paying the symbolic price of (even) a single brick or by offering something to pay in kind, depending on how much they can afford.

The name of each person/entity, who has made a donation, will be entered into the record book of donations, which will be placed in the chapel.

As you are aware, the Friar Julian Foundation (Árpád út 22/a, H-2621 Verőce) is building the chapel from donations.

A maximum of 5 notes will be posted to you according to the amount donated. If you wish to buy more than 5 bricks (HUF 5,000), then 2 notes - or more, if specifically requested - will be posted to you accordingly.
